This building has a lot of really great ideas. I think we can all get something from how they treated multi-use spaces. The unfortunate part is that it seems like it would be a bit dark and you would have to walk a bit too much to get anywhere.

Late night design sessions could be broken with races to the roof.

It seems to be a very adaptive building internally which is useful in a school of Architecture. The quad is strong and will bring all together. Lots of spaces fro creativity.

I worked on this competition too, and I have only one note. Floor area of the building suppose to be about 50 000 m3. I dont think the program will fit in this building. And the overal look of this “hill” is very flat inside…And making hills in Holland is realy funy. No surprise it didn’t win anything.

why is it a copy, just because they both use the idea of the stairs as the facade? the general form, program and construction are way different. try to design something yourself instead of trashing others, it’s so easy (I know I do it all the time:)
