I agree that people should not be hidden in the shadows of starchitects. I also think that people should think for themselves and pursue their own personal agenda rather then copying starchitect style.

Lead Pencil Studio is fantastic – wonderful blend of art sculpture and architecture.

Atelier Big City is not exactly young but are doing some great work up in Montreal.

There are hundreds of great firms, I just wish I would hear more about a variety of designers rather then ever see a Zaha Hadid blob again.

I agree Lucas. Young talent does deserve more attention. With my website it is my aiam to highlight the up and coming. Although my guilty pleasure will always be the work of Zumthor.

What practices do you think deserve more exposure?

But seriously, I think more attention should be paid to emerging talent rather than the same dozen or so architects that grab all the headlines.
