Who wants to walk/bike up a long windy switchback? Celebrate the machine, getting from one place to another along the diagrammatic "shortest distance between two points". Don't get me wrong, i love procession, but it's an interesting and aesthetically pleasing take on machine/the built environment weaving with nature. Minas Tirith?
