It’s a really interesting scheme, unlike Le Corbusier’s Unite D’habitacione, the shifting and overlapping between units is horizontal and not vertical, similar to MVRDVs house (forgot the name)

The only one thing is that it needs to be perfectly insulated and waterproofed. Otherwise any issue with a neighbors bathroom could potentially overflow your apartment.
