I walked past this building the other day... very interesting design but there's a huge hole in the ceiling on the 4th floor. Looks like there's some design/build issues still outstanding!

Nice project. It would be great if the screens on the facades were solar panels or evacuated tubes or something. I like the simplicity of the interior design.

Developer should be commended for taking a risk and not following the standard developer formula. It seems like a long time since a NYC developer built something with elevators and stairs open to the outside. I've only seen that in low-income areas (LeFrak City, an old brick development in Cobble Hill), yet this project doesn't recall that at all. Most developers would balk at an external stair, but this one (and the architect) saw an opportunity.

And smart use of FAR regulations, assuming those balconies don't count against you. More total apt with same FAR.

Probably cold as hell in the winter, but good design. Plans are beautifully simple. LA living in Williamsburg.

It's a pleasant surprise and a reminder not to judge a book by it's cover.

I really love the minimlist simplicity and stylish undercurrent. This is definitely my kind of living space.

Thanks for posting :)
