Wonderful solution. Gobbeldy gook description. Is there a rule that all architectural writing be tedious and overwrought? There are so many beautiful aspects of this home, it would be refreshing to read about the steps the architects took to arrive at that solution -- only in more common terms. There's no shame in simply stating "we thought it would be great to have a house surrounding the garden... a house with a big hole in the middle." Sadly, the text is so laborious it misses the mark on communicating anything to do with the structure. It's assembled for the sake of the writer, not the reader. Incredible home. Wonderful solution.
