Plan
Plan

On September 2011,they moved into the building built fifty years ago located in Tokyo Japan. No-processed steel panels became main component into white modern space. And that steel panels are pretty close to naked situation of the materials. Architects thought that the anachronism feeling and monotone color connects the characteristic atmosphere in the old building to modern feeling and sense.

I love the sheet steel, it has it's own natural patina.

Very nice. Looks to me like the steel is corten in it's pre patinated state - does that mean the whole thing goes rusty over time ? Or is there museum grade HVAC system to keep the air dry ?
