Linear House / Patkau Architects Linear House is located on a sixteen acre farm on Salt Spring Island, an island in the Strait of Georgia between Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia, Canada. The property is bisected from east to west by a long row of mature Douglas fir trees. There is a gentle slope falling across the site from south to north. The City of Culture / Eisenman Architects The City of Culture is a new cultural center for the Province of Galicia in northwestern Spain. Its design evolves from the superposition of three sets of information. First, the street plan of the medieval center of Santiago is overlaid on a topographic map of the hillside site, which overlooks the city. New Cultural Centre / FÜNDC FÜNDC, Spanish architecture and urban planning office, just finalized The New Cultural Center (NCC), the largest urban intervention of the last decades made on Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid.
