I was thinking about the modern traditions, and why they are often related to Miesian language. This house, by ARTechnic can be linked to another Modern trend, more simpathetic to the nature: that of F.L.Wright, and his followers, like John Lautner.
It´s a very beautiful and warm design...

i think this kind of architecture is best in tropical countries. the shape protects the house from rain and is very low maintenance. the material(concrete) keeps the inside cool, while the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors blends the indoor with the outdoor. awesome house.

It is a rather dangerous environment with all that angles, edges and spikes. I wouldnt like to fall on that pointy footstep in the garden.

Also the custom made furniture (anything else owuld be impossible) deliberately accentuate edges, and acute angles making the whole house an impertinence for a familiy to live in.

Please, lets leave Lautner out of this, really!

This "house" is a formalistic self indulgent thing, that lacks of spacial quality. Actually the interiors are rather claustrophobic.

Awesome image, almost looks folding, which is becoming a nuisance. vicont makes a good point. If the architect left the form completely pure and not as Rokas states "moments for the sake of form”, it would present itself as a mature structure, seriously imposing itself on its context. What would be interesting, if there were 'offspring' structures scattered throughout the site. Interior is reminiscent of Lautner. I don't think the furniture shouldn't be attached to the structure, the shell should be left alone.

As a studying architectural engineer, I adoce such archictecture, where form is visible through constructions, it's highl level of structural tectonics. This house is a very good example.
