The Estoril Sol Residence is situated near the mouth of the Vale da Ribeira de la Castellana. This unique location required a design that created a relationship between the adjacent sea and valley, and added public green space infront of the water. Designed by architect Gonçalo Byrne Arquitectos, the video is produced by João Morgado.

Who knows the Estoril and his history must agree with me. This is architecture that should disappear years ago.. Reminds me “komunistic” architecture without any scale and taste..
An architect like Gonçalo Byrne totally envolved in the study of landscape, geography and territory, should produce something much better than this “transformer” that as ruin all the enviroment and felling of Estoril. This building is not better than the previous one.
