Can’t believe you left off anything from the first wave of Chicago architecture. The Rookery, Monadnock, Reliance, and Auditorium buildings are all must-sees.
Don’t forget the Glessner House, there are’t too many Richardson’s left out there.
And I have to agree on the Farnsworth – easily worth the drive

Pretty component to content. I just stumbled upon your website and in accession capital to claim that I acquire in fact enjoyed account your weblog posts. Any way I’ll be subscribing to your augment or even I fulfillment you access persistently fast.
The Aqua Tower looks nice from this particular angle. But from a distance, it doesn’t look outstanding. And based on what I’ve seen from the street level, the quality of craftmanship of the facade is not top notch.
John Ronan’s Poetry Foundation is easily the most stunning new building in the city. The nested layers of the facade, the successional entry sequence, the quality of craftsmanship…..superb.
Kevin-
Yes! Couldn’t agree more. Poetry Foundation is an absolutely wonderful place.
