Back in August we featured some photographs of Frank Gehry‘s Beekman Tower in New York. Now, there’s a video of this fantastic skyscraper, which starts with Gehry sketching the building’s shape. You can see the video right here. More information can be found at Curbed. See some screenshots of the video after the break.

I think that video was a bit much. with the editing.. random ipad placement in the beginning? random flashing of images. I was too distracted by the overly edited video and epic music that I hardly saw the building.
… hmm.
I’m a little confused. . . I did not see one bay window hanging 2′ out. If anything it seems that the windows are recessed.
I did not see one bay window hanging 2′ out. If anything the windows are recessed. Welcome to the era of hyper-sensationalism.
I think I threw up a little when I saw they used the ‘Apple’ hand transition between the images. Is this product placement?
Yep, for all the talk of a bay window, you would have thought they might have showed you one somewhere…
One for this man… Genius. Really Inspired by his work!
