Lots of great ideas in this design, the movable doors, idea from the Japanese, I love that, the green roof, the skylight and that is all I can think of. I wonder why the photographer did not take a pic of the view from the open living room looking out? I think, home being connected to nature( trees, rolling mountains and the sea) by way of views makes the sweet in "Home sweet home" even sweeter.

The design of those window panels is incredibly elegant. The view out into those dense trees is so dramatic. The garden design on the roof is strange; it could be very nice, but it is definitely not as overtly beautiful as the rest of the house. From the aerial shots it looks like a really cool place to live, with houses nestled between the trees.
